The MARLIN MANGOES - PACKING SHED is a wholly- owned Queensland family business which grows and supplies quality fresh mangoes to both the domestic and export markets.

The orchard is located at Emerald Creek (via Mareeba), on the rich and fertile Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, which is renowned for its high quality fruit and vegetables. The orchard covers an area of 85 hectares with over 14,000 mango trees, consisting of Kensington Pride (Bowen), R2E2 and Brooke varieties.

Layout and design of the orchard has been meticulously undertaken to take advantage of the natural landscape and its unique ecosystem.

Harvesting of the mangoes usually commences in mid-November and continues into February of the following year, with over 65,000 trays being picked annually.

The orchard is diligently maintained by the Gambino family, which includes John and his wife Des, in addition to their adult two sons, Sibby and Sam.
